Merging Mediums

Artist as Entrepreneur Bootcamp

In October of 2016, I participated in the Artist as Entrepreneur Bootcamp (presented by Arts Services Initiative of WNY, Inc. and the New York Foundation for the Arts). It was an intensive, multiday professional development opportunity that delved into the fundamental principles of sustainability in the arts. I learned a lot of information and met new people in Buffalo’s art community. The positive takeaways from this experience for me have been the connections, friendships and projects that have followed.

As an alumni of the bootcamp, Arts Services Initiative of WNY continues to facilitate workshops and trainings to foster business education specific to the needs of our group. I am really grateful for their dedication to our community and the bigger picture.

Merging Mediums: A Group Exhibiton

Fast forward to present day – it’s been over a year since bootcamp but we’re all coming together for a group exhibition appropriately titled “Merging Mediums”. I’m really looking forward to seeing everybody’s art and catching up with new and old friends. See you there?
